张叔言,1949年出生,湖南人,南京大学中文系、解放军政治学院、美国加州大学毕业,博士学位。中华出版促进会副秘书长、《书香两岸》杂志社总编、中华人民共和国文化部一级美术师(书法)、大龙树(厦门)文化传媒有限公司总经理。曾获得出版韬奋奖和新中国成立六十周年百名优秀出版人奖。

从小用毛笔写字
熟悉张叔言的人都知道,他是用毛笔写字的。张叔言从小学直到退休都坚持用毛笔写字,写日记、写文章甚至连开会记录有时都用毛笔,不过那只是写毛笔字而已,谈不上书法。但无心插柳柳成荫,这种书写方法对毛笔的把握、书法的感觉很有帮助,特别对草书的流利性要求更是打下了一个基础。
退休后,张叔言在与中国当代著名书画大家杨向阳的接触中感受到了书法的巨大魅力。“他的书法造诣和理论高度都让我十分钦佩,独创了融隶书风骨、魏碑气势、篆书神韵于一体的‘三体书’及草篆、行隶等近百种书体。当时我就临摹他的隶、楷、行书,受他的影响很深。”
从此,张叔言开始临摹历代书法名家的字帖,沉浸其中,忘乎所以,甚至不吃不喝8个小时,从晚上一直写到凌晨3点都丝毫不疲惫。

“毛泽东的字、岳飞的书法自有其过人的气魄,而王羲之的字则透着文人雅士的精制笔法。”张叔言认为,历代书法名家多出自王侯将相、文史学家,这并非偶然或是虚名,书法境界高低是来自人生的经历和感悟。真正的书法家并非只会写字的匠人,他们需要有深厚国学底蕴和自我修养。
也许这便是所谓的“字如其人”。一个人写的字透着他走过路、读过的书和爱过的人。因为工作环境的特殊,张叔言参军十八载,在出版界三十余年,办过报纸,做过杂志,出版过图书,也做过书商,懂经营,好收藏,可谓经历颇丰,其书法也自成一格,这也是为什么他的字受到不少品牌企业的钟爱。
“书法的世界,越钻研就越感到自己的无知,越有学习的热情。”张叔言平时有很多的机会接触书法艺术书籍、名胜古迹、书法展览,他十分珍惜这些机会,每到一地,他都要找机会去书店,特别是古旧书店、旧货市场淘宝,去名胜古迹受熏陶,从中吸取书法艺术的精髓。此外,张叔言还非常爱好文学、历史、哲学、汉语言文,他认为,这些是书法艺术的灵魂,是书法艺术赖以升华的基础。

发挥书画艺术家已有魅力,为发扬中华文化做贡献,
改革开放四十年了,四十年的经验告诉我们中华文化是中华民族赖以生存和发展的基石,是我们维系民族团结,凝聚民心,激发民族上进心的法宝,是我们客服困难,自强不息,开拓进取的武器,继续弘扬和传承中华文化是我们的国策,也是全民族都要忠实履行的使命,相比之下书画家更应有所担当。
书画家是我国文化队伍中的奇葩,因为他们的作品大多是中华文化的精品,能与大家发生共鸣,为大家所仰慕,许多人以拥有他们的作品为傲,许多人因府邸、大堂、雅室挂着他们的作品为荣,从这个意义上讲书画家是传承、弘扬中华文化的最佳媒介。
书画家特别是书法家作品大多是中华文化宝库的精品,是中华文化五千多年的文化结晶。这些作品不但能给人以美的享受,更能给人以启示、熏陶,力量、震撼,能陶冶人的灵魂,试想一下,如果每一个人每一间雅室,每一间办公室,每个住家,每一个场馆,每一个有人来人往的地方都悬挂书画家的墨宝,那会是什么样的感觉,那对弘扬中华文化的贡献有多大?
发挥书画艺术家的独特魅力,需要把书画艺术家组织起来,我国的书画家团体很多,但国家队的只是很少一部分,大量高手在民间,这些体制外的书画高手许多被社会上一些所谓的文化媒体所左右,把书画家当成赚钱的工具,不但让书画家赔了许多钱更重要的是让他们偏离了方向,浪费了他们的宝贵资源,应该打破原有体制界限,把体制内体制外的书画家很好的组织起来,让他们都在一个公平公正的平台上为传承和弘扬中华文化做贡献。
要加强对书画家的文化教育,建立健全书画队伍先进文化,改革开放四十年,书画队伍是发展壮大了,但队伍素质参差不齐,个人主义,自由主义,拜金主义,拿来主义等还不同程度的存在,严重的影响腐蚀了书画队伍的健康成长。应该重视书画队伍的文化建设,提高书画家队伍的品位,素质,增强书画家队伍社会责任感,使命感,加强书画家队伍的道德培养,让我们的书画队伍成为真正有社会主义觉悟,有高度社会责任,讲道德有品质的队伍。
要给书画艺术家搭建一个开放展示交流平台,让他们能更好的发挥自己的才华,现在书画艺术家基本都是各自为战,不说是一盘散沙,但可以说是游击队,中央到地方应把发挥书画家的才能纳入政府的文化发展规划,有步骤,有计划地选拔,培养一批顶尖的书画家,另一方面给他们舞台,为施展他们的才能创造条件,充分发挥书画艺术家的魅力主要是书画艺术家要有魅力,书画艺术家有没有魅力不是自己说了算,要人民认可,社会认可,首先最重要的是人品,一个没有人品的艺术家是不能载入历史的。人品包括道德修养,价值观,社会责任感,其中包括能否跟上时代步伐,当然书画艺术家最起码的是书画艺术水平,写书绘画的人千千万,要脱颖而出,成为大家实属不易,书画家要有一个高标准,要为这一标准奋斗不止,除了字写好外,还要多学习国学、哲学、美学,要多考察研究名胜古迹,特别要研究名人字画,这些都是能提升书画家艺术水平的必经之路。书画艺术永无止境,天外有天,山外有山,永远都在路上,书画艺术家切记不可居功自傲,故步自封。
改革开放给书画艺术带来了春天,我们应抓住这个好机遇,展示自我,努力服务这个时代。为中华文化复兴,为中国崛起贡献自己力量。
